With an exposed original stone wall and blue tiled fireplace, Blacksmith’s Cottage has a welcoming and homely living room. Sink into the comfy, leather sofas and turn on the flat screen TV to catch up with your favourite shows or gather your loved ones together to play games. The property has a spacious kitchen diner which is ideal for socialising. Ultra stylish, the kitchen cabinets are navy in colour with marble style worktops. Fully equipped with modern appliances, you’ll be able to prepare meals easily. Upstairs on the first floor, you’ll find three bedrooms and the family bathroom. The master bedroom features a king size bed and an ensuite shower room. The second bedroom is a twin and the third bedroom has single bunk beds. Modern and clean, the family bathroom includes a bath with an overhead shower, WC and basin. There is an enclosed front garden with an outdoor table and seating. In addition, there is also an enclosed private hot tub. Guests have access to the full property. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe box. Blacksmith’s Cottage is located in the beautiful town of Amble on the Northumberland coastline. With a bustling marina and long stretching sandy shores, there is plenty of fun to be had here. You can try your hand at watersports as there are plenty of activities on offer including sailing, canoeing, kayaking and fishing. Hop on a boat trip to The Coquet Island, just a mile off the coast, to discover an array of wildlife. There are 35,000 nesting birds in the summer and a colony of over 600 seals! Amble is also home to delicious restaurants and cosy pubs so you can enjoy a truly relaxing break. As Amble is a fishing town, you can expect the best seafood fresh from the coast. If it’s shopping you’re looking for, the town has lots of independent stores. Head to Harbour Village and you’ll find 15 brand new pods selling arts, crafts, food, drink and gifts. Amble is located 15 miles from Morpeth and roughly 9 miles from Alnwick on the coast so it is perfectly situated for exploring Northumberland. There are plenty of great bus routes making it easy to travel around the area. Hop on the X18 which travels from Alnwick through to Newcastle with stops in Craster, Seahouses and Bamburgh. The nearest train station is roughly five miles away in Alnmouth. Located on the main East coast line, express trains stop at Alnmouth train station throughout the day so you can get a direct train to London in just 3 and a half hours. Edinburgh is just one hour away, Berwick upon Tweed and Newcastle just half an hour. The owner kindly provides a dog bed and cage.
