A stunning traditional cottage, perfectly positioned above Fishguard Harbour, offering outstanding views of the quay, fishing boats and the glorious coastline. 29 Old Newport Road has a simplistic, traditional and warm decor, which really showcases the cottage's character. The solid wooden floors, door and frames add to the charmingly rustic ambience. The family-sized lounge with remarkable views has a delightful log burner, making it a perfect space to unwind, relax and socialise. Step outside the property to be presented with wonderful views, at a short 2-minute walk down the hill, to take in the sounds and feel of the iconic quay. In the evening, enjoy the spectacular sunsets and the stunning stars above in the uninterrupted open skies. Dogs are welcome at the cottage, although there is no enclosed space, there are lots of suitable walks nearby for you to exercise your dog(s). Stroll down the road to the Ship Inn and step back in time. It is amazing adorned with photos and the most charming owner and locals. It doesn't even have a till just a calculator and wooden drawer. Being just stone's throw from Fishguard harbour. you'll be centrally located to enjoy a fabulous selection of golden beaches, including Pwllgwaelod Beach and Whitesands. The cottage provides a well-equipped kitchen/dining room with a 4-burner gas cooker, oven, with many accessories including a microwave, toaster, kettle fridge, freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine. Just a 15 miles drive away, is St David's - the UK's smallest city, with its decorated history and iconic cathedral. St Davids is a blossoming hive of activity with shops, pubs, and cafes in abundance. 29 Old Newport Road, is a charming cottage in a stunning and unique location which provides breathtaking views of Fishguard harbour, with fabulous coastal walks in every direction - making it a perfect family cottage. LAYOUT & FURTHER INFORMATION Three Bedrooms sleeping a maximum of five. One double, one twin, and one single room, all located on the first floor, offering delightful views of the quay which sits just below. All bedrooms are dressed with bedside cabinets, lamps, and a chest of drawers. Family bathroom with a shower cubicle and separate bath, toilet, washbasin, heated towel rail, and mirror. Lounge showcasing the remarkable views of the harbour. The living space has a truly original feel, which is amplified by its charming log burner and wooden floor and doors. Dressed with, 2 x two-seater sofas, an armchair, bench, TV, DVD player, dresser, and lamp. The front entrance to the cottage is located at the rear - which brings in natural light - making this a very bright and welcoming setting. A well-equipped kitchen/dining space, with a dining table and seating for six. A 4-burner gas cooker and oven, with many accessories including a microwave, toaster, kettle fridge, freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine. At the rear of this space, you'll find a beautiful solid wood staircase that leads onto the first floor. At the rear of the cottage, there is an entrance that provides plenty of space for coats, walking boots, and dog equipment - this tiled area leads on to a downstairs w/c room with a hand basin and mirror. Grounds: The cottage is located on a steep hill, which brings beautiful views, at the front there this parking for two vehicles, one on the private drive and the other on the hill right outside the cottage. The rear of the property has a small concreted space which is accessed by a wooden garden gate at the side of the property. There are a small number of steps at the rear which lead to an elevated area equipped with a table, four chairs and a small BBQ.
