Boutique apartment overlooking the friendly Caribbean seaside village of Mero

UPDATE 18th August 2018. We have just returned from a three week stay at the property and are pleased to say that electricity has now been restored and the pool is fully functional, although we are still awaiting internet connection. A beautiful boutique studio apartment furnished with magnificent antique French bedroom furniture, Victorian sofa and chaise longue, a stunning Venetian mirror and much more. Also present is a rare antique French folding bed contained in an oak cabinet - ideal for the smaller guest or adventurous child! It has a well equipped kitchen and modern tiled bathroom with shower, basin and WC. Private entrance and balcony with Caribbean sea views.. A ten minute stroll (or 5 minute brisk walk!) to Mero beach, widely considered to be the best on the island. Well situated on the West Coast of the wonderful Nature Island of Dominica. Hillside House & Apartments was completed in December 2016 and provides truly unique accomodation in Dominica. It is a three storey building with the two apartments on the ground floor and main house with pool above. There is a pool deck on the middle floor with seating area and WIFI. This is for the use of all residents. A washing machine is also available . Both apartments are listed and available for rental. Room for additional guests if required. All rooms have insect screens to prevent mosquitos and we also provide mosquito nets over the beds for extra protection. Due to the hillside location we benefit from a nice breeze so air conditioning is not necessary but fans are provided.
