Having originally been used as the village post office (hence the name Correos House - Spanish for Post Office) – it is now a restored ‘Georgian villa' close to the green, in the sought-after village of East Rudham. Each of the rooms has been meticulously furnished with superb attention to detail. Guests will enjoy a fabulously-equipped kitchen, an open-plan sociable sitting room with cosy wood burning stove, a formal dining room and sumptuous bedrooms, each with a television/DVD player. The beds have 2000 pocket sprung mattresses and 800 thread count linens. Original and limited-edition artworks adorn the walls. On the top floor there is a self-contained master suite consisting of a bedroom, shower room and dressing area. Three of the bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms and there is also a family bathroom on the first floor. The garden is enclosed and dog friendly so bring your dog with you. This is a really luxurious home-from-home, which is only a short drive to the fabulous stately home of Houghton Hall and gardens which host many fine exhibitions and of course the famous Horse Trials. The village pub at East Rudham, The Crown, serves fabulous food, and there is a handy village shop, butchers and tea room, all within 100 yards of the house.
