Luxurious stone barn with private fully heated pool, hot tub, tennis and gym

This beautiful stone barn has been converted into a luxury two bedroom cottage, decorated using a mix of designer fabrics and luxury furniture, creating a super comfortable, romantic idyllic hideaway, with open views across farmland. The property is very private with direct access to a private swimming pool (open during the summer season) and only for the use of stone barn during occupancy!! A path leads to a private tennis court (tennis rackets and balls included). Stone barn is approached via a private drive with plenty of parking and an outside dining area with a vaulted ceiling and stone walls. Double doors lead to the reception room which has been decorated with a mix of antique and modern furniture, the high ceilings expose original beams which give such a lovely feel, boasting many original features. There is a small staircase to the modern kitchen which stone work tops and double doors lead onto another private patio. The bathroom has been recently renovated to include a large power shower and handmade vanity unit. The spiral staircase leads to two double bedrooms, (both with vaulted ceilings) one with a super king bed and we have used top of the range luxury bed linens and this room (being a covered hay barn) has views over the veranda below. The second bedroom has a king size bed again provided with top of the range luxury bedlinen, this room is so pretty with a small gothic windows and antique furniture. . Both bedrooms are quiet and private with a romantic theme. The theme throughout is understated luxury, offering top quality fixtures and fittings to ensure our guests experience a wonderful stay. The property is located on a small quiet lane which is surrounded by open fields. The village of Shere (which featured in the Hollywood movie The Holiday) is within a few minutes drive or 15 minutes walk, Shere Village is a must to visit during your stay, there are two very good pubs, and a fine dining restaurant, also a few antique shops and our favourite artisan ice cream store. The cathedral town of Guildford is within 15 minutes drive, here you will find a large selection of shops and restaurants to include The Ivy, and many other top quality restaurants. If you are looking for wonderful walks and/or mountain bike trails, then all of this is on hand and you can simply walk straight from Stone Barn. Wander through barley fields to local pubs or perhaps picnic in the near by fields. If you want to just remain at the property, then the gardens provide a beautiful setting, perhaps enjoy the swimming pool, followed by some tennis and then end the day sitting around the fire pit with a bbq .
