There is a fishing lake 1km away and several rambling trails. 20km from Castillon-la-Bataille where the open air summer shows draw much attention as hundreds of townsfolk replay the famous battle ending the Hundred Years' War with the British. 75km east of the historic and beautiful city of Bordeaux set on the Garonne river, with cathedral, museums, casino and excellent shopping. For those lucky enough to book in July, you will enjoy enjoy an international jazz/swing festival at Monsegur ; It is held each year on the 1st weekend of July. Shop, café/bar and restaurant 2km.
