Waioeka Views - a great winter escape where you can be nourished

Waioeka Views is situated in Opotiki overlooking the Waioeka river and bridge. Merrick Cottage is a one bedroom fully self-contained cottage in a beautiful private garden, with the additional Garden Cabin (20 metres from Merrick Cottage) which offers a spare double bedroom. We can accommodate up to 4 guests per booking. Please note the cost of NZ$130 per night is for bookings of two or more nights for 1-2 people with an additional $35 per extra person. We aim to provide a wide variety of services to meet the diverse needs of guests. This can range from guests being fully self-contained and doing their own thing and/or accessing the other services available such as breakfast hampers and/or receiving the various therapies we offer which include therapeutic massage, craniosacral therapy, aquatic integration therapy, roanga therapies and "time out" packagages (which include all meals and minumum two night stay). We are also dog friendly and support families to have holidays with thier dogs. Please contact the owner to discuss bringing your dog. The property has a heated pool situated in the garden for guests to use (free of charge) and a therapy room - to enhance your stay. Bookings are essential to access therapies as we also provide these services to the local community. We can provide breakfast or brunch hampers (local produce comes from our own garden and free range chickens). A great opportunity if you would like to be really looked after in your private space whilst on holiday so you can leave feeling rested and rejuvenated. The local beaches are also only 5 minutes drive in either direction of the Opotiki township. The large volcanic island - White Island is viewed from our local beaches and can be accessed via Whakatane (45 mins drive from Opotiki). Opotiki is the gateway to the East Cape - to many beautiful beaches and scenery that can be accessed by day trips.
