This comfortably furnished holiday home is located on a 1600 m² garden/natural plot in a quiet, sunny location on a hill with a view of the Oberschönau mountains. There are approximately 250 km of hiking trails around Oberschönau. Shops, restaurants, etc. are nearby. Activities nearby: In the middle of the Thuringian Forest, in the "WM Ferienregion" Oberhof, lies the idyllic mountain village of Oberschönau. It offers about 100 km of well-marked hiking trails and a well-maintained network of ski and hiking trails in winter. But sports such as mountain biking and Nordic walking are also popular. The climbers can practice their sport on the Finkensteinen or the "Twelve Apostles". High mountains of 800 m surround the place, such as the Hermannsberg, the Ruppberg, the Hohe Möst and the Donnershauk, on the ridge of which the Rennsteig extends. A walk there is rewarded with a fascinating panorama and a good view of the distance. For winter lovers of fast descents, the ski slopes with lifts in Steinbach-Hallenberg and Oberhof will get their money's worth.
