Kellys' Gulf View Apartment - Amazing Views

Several people return year after year to to enjoy their annual break at "Kellys' Gulf View", which stands 4m above the esplanade, with the beach and sea spread out there right in front. This ground floor unit has a spacious, comfortable living area, one bedroom with a queensize bed and another bedroom with 3 singles, 2 of which are oversize. There is also a baby's collapsible cot and high-chair. The kitchen has the usual selection of amenities including a microwave, and the bathroom incorporates a washing machine. All linen including towels is provided. For in-house entertainment there's TV, stereo with ipod socket, DVD, wi-fi and Netflix. Also books, mags, tourism information and a BBQ. WHAT THE DISTRICT OFFERS. Many people come just for the beach: the relaxing stroll or swimming, fishing, sailing or snorkeling and scuba diving on the reef at Port Noarlunga just up the road. But there is plenty more on offer. The town has a variety of entertainments and restaurants for young and old and good shopping with the much-extended Colonnades. There are pleasant walks in the natural reserves on the coast and in the hills and planned heritage walks for those interested. A big attraction is to do a drive along the magificent Fleurieu coastline. You could make a day of it and go right down to Cape Jervis and/or around to Victor Harbour and Goolwa (on the Murray) and then back up throught the hills.The other great attraction is the famous wine district of McLaren Vale, a short drive away, with its 60-odd cellar doors. At the same time the city is conveniently accessed 35 or 40 mins away up the expressway or by train. Arriving It is better to enter "Kellys' Gulf View" at the back via Dover Place (no.27) where there is off-street parking. The Kellys(Pat and Ern) have been an item for about 63 years and live in another unit in the same complex. Most times they will be available for information or assistance if required.
