Please note: this is hosted accommodation. We live in a semi- separated part of the house. You have your own bathrooms, lounge and kitchenette. A continental breakfast is included in your price for breakfast and a cooked breakfast can be ordered the day before for $15, Stratford is a very convenient place to stay in that it is an easy drive to both Dawson Falls Visitor Center or the Mountain Ski field and carpark at the end of Pembroke Road, the many properties that are featured in our popular Garden festival and our wonderful attractions in New Plymouth Our Lodge once was the local convent, home to the Sisters who used to teach at the local Primary School. As such, you will enjoy eating or relaxing in our Chapel dining room with its stained glass windows and high pitched ceiling. We have one separate shower, a separate toilet and a combined shower, bath and toilet room. Our kitchenette has a fridge, microwave, electric jug and complimentary tea/coffee making facilities and most of the cook ware you need for the 2 ring hob. If an oven is needed, it may be possible to use mine. We have a ramp at the front door to make accessibility easier but no bathrooms that would allow a wheelchair easy access for showering. There is free carparking on site and a camera looking over the carpark and entrance door is turned on during your stay. Pets are by arrangement. Special conditions: shoes off please in the entrance way. Smoking allowed outside only. Kitchen to be kept clean and tidy. Dogs may be allowed under certain conditions. Property suitable for small children but children need to be supervised. Use of drugs on the property will result in a request to vacate immediately.
