Colby Mill is an ideal holiday cottage for a family group or a group of friends looking for a short break on the Isle of Man. Featuring 3 good sized bedrooms (2 doubles and a twin), the property also has a great open plan living, dining and kitchen area making it a perfect space for socialising together as a group. Colby Glen, one of the Manx national glens is a couple of minutes walk up the road from the cottage, a small 5 acre glen it has its own charm, especially in the spring and early summer when wild bluebells and primroses are found in profusion. The Colby River runs through the Colby Glen and down immediately past Colby Mill holiday cottage, you can hear the gentle and peaceful sound of this small river from each of the bedrooms and living area. There is a small gravelled outdoor area as you enter the property from the parking area, with some outdoor seating. In Colby itself there is a well-stocked Spar shop providing groceries and newspapers. This is adjacent to the local public house, The Colby Glen which is approximately 5 minutes walk away from the cottage. The bus service in this area of the island is very frequent and the nearest bus stop is also just 5 minutes walk away, as is the Isle of Man steam railway which runs from Port Erin to Douglas with a halt at Colby.
