Wildwood Cottage is nestled in the piney woods of East Texas. It is in a safe and secure gated community known as Holly Lake Ranch. There are so many fun activities and amenities within our community that if you get bored, it is your fault. You can stay as busy or as unbusy as you want to. Holly Lake Ranch offers a quiet and peaceful environment for you to fully relax and enjoy your time away from the hustle and bustle of life. If you enjoy golfing, there is an excellent 18 hole golf course. If fishing is your thing, there are two lakes on our property. The larger lake, Greenbriar Lake, will accommodate all recreational water craft and coves for reeling in a prize fish. The smaller lake, Holly Lake, is also an excellent lake for fishing. You may put your boat into the water but you cannot create a wake. You do not need to have a fishing license to fish these lakes. You might want to take advantage of sports like tennis, pickleball or disc golf - even miniature golf. There are walking trails and one that leads to our little waterfall. The kids will have a lot of fun at the Activities Center where there are video games, air hockey game, ping pong and other kid friendly games to play. Some of the best hamburgers you will eat can be found at the Activity Center. If you love to go antiquing, this is the best place for you to be. Several towns within a 30 minute drive are loaded with fun antique stores to explore. Have you heard of Canton? Once a month there is a huge (and I do mean huge) flea market in less than an hour drive from the front door. Bring a bunch of antiquing friends and spend a day or two in Canton. There is a restaurant by the golf course if you decide you don't want to cook one evening. All of this information as well as other restaurants and activities outside the Ranch will be available in a Welcome Book provided at the house. This will be the first of many fun trips you will make to Holly Lake Ranch and especially at our Wildwood Cottage. We hope your experience is even better than you expected!
