The large cottage is secluded in the woods and has over 60-feet of waterfront with a private dock. The house has a covered lower deck off the downstairs master and kitchen, dining and great room. And an upper deck right off the upstairs master and family room. The house has 2 fireplaces and an outdoor fire pit. There is a large open deck with a boardwalk to the lake and private dock with enough room for 2 full-sized boats, jet skis and kayaks. Big Fisher Lake is a quiet lake in a secluded location with immediate access to the Glen Lake. You can enjoy swimming, paddle boarding right off the dock, and watch the sunset from any of the decks. End your day sitting around the warmth of the fire pit on starlit evenings. Tipsy Turtle cottage is available for weekly rentals, Friday to Friday, in the summer months of June, July and August, and for 5-day rentals throughout the rest of the year. The house is a short walk, bike or drive from the many restaurants, shops, and galleries in the quaint town of Glen Arbor. The cottage is close to a variety of Northern Michigan activities including Sleeping Bear Dune National Park. In addition there are places to rent bikes, as well as kayaks for trips down the Crystal River. There are several marinas in town to rent a boat for the day or longer! Take a boat trip to the Manitou islands. Or take a leisurely drive a little bit further up the coast to Port Oneida, Fishtown, and countless other places in Leelanau County.
