Visit Castleton to enjoy a guided tour by boat through its caves, where the beautiful Blue John Stone is mined. The old market town of Bakewell is a must, as well as a day visit to Chatsworth House and its 1,000-acre estate, made famous by ‘Pride and Prejudice,’ or Haddon Hall. The famous of village of Eyam is steeped in history and this cosy property was once the home of the village baker during the plague of 1665.
