Check out Sia Fuhler's Adelaide pad! Norwood Place has a decor that reflects the history of the 1890's cottage tradition with contemporary style: Phillipe Starke chairs sit alongside glittering Regency mirrors whilst a French Armoire accompanies a patisserie sign - converted into a lavish rose gold bed head. Marble top tables, fine quality linen and crystal lamps complete the scene. In summer Norwood is abuzz. People are outdoors soaking up our beautiful warm nights, hanging out in cafes, going to the movies, dining and cycling through the streets. Norwood is steeped in tradition and is a big part of Adelaide's cafe culture providing chic restaurants and groovy bars and eateries. At home, you can relax by a gas open fire and enjoy all the creature comforts on the big and very comfortable chesterfield sofa. The evening may provide the perfect opportunity to relax in the spa before heading out to Rundle Street, The Eastend or the Cultural Precinct which is around 1.5 km from home base. Rundle Street has nightclubs and a wide range of dining options. It is also the start of the central shopping district. Norwood Place is also a great base to explore the many wine regions of South Australia - Adelaide Hills, Barossa, McLaren Vale or Clare. Penfolds Magill Estate cellar door, home to "Grange", is around a 20 minute drive. The Adelaide Wine Centre is around 1.5 km away; a beautiful piece of architecture which sits on the edge of the Botanic Gardens, offering wine by the glass and SA produce. All visitors are encouraged to hire a car for the day and head "down the coast". Around 1 hour you hit the stunning views of McLaren Vale. The undulating landscape is covered in vines and surrounded by 'melting' hills. Each winery is so unique and offers great character - often it seems more like a bar than a tasting room. Lunch - well that could be in a vineyard or a 10 minute drive to the Coast. Either way, round off the day in the crystal waters of the "Gulf". Adelaide is home to the Tour Downunder cycling event, Womadelaide and a number of Festivals including the Fringe, Adelaide Festival and Cabaret Festival. All are word class events attracting big crowds to Adelaide - you will be so close to the action at Norwood Place. Check out the dates - definately worth a look. Norwood Place has everything you need to enjoy your stay with large screen television, dishwasher, queen-sized beds, washer/ dryer, cooker, stove and all the accessories. So, if you are into wining, dining, dancing and the finer things of life - head to Adelaide and stay at our place - Norwood Place. We hope to welcome you soon! Glamorous, warm and inviting. Close to all in cosmopolitan Norwood & the City. New fit out
