Little Glenny Summary
Summary: Live the moment. Close your eyes and listen. Open your eyes and see! Welcome! ‘Little Glenny’ is situated on 32 acres, an hour and half from Melbourne in Yarck, north east of Victoria in bushland for wildlife. It is ideal for a getaway for one or more nights to relax and take in another world in solitude and beauty. We are just 3 kms from Yarck where you will find cafes to have breakfast and lunch. You can do local shopping as well to buy produce for your evening meal. Everything is so easy. Take time to explore the local area by going on a bike ride along the Great Victorian Bike Trial. We have a pool of which you can use during the hours of 9am to 6pm. We have 2 kelpie puppies Freddy and Poppy who live with us. You are welcome to bring your dog which we require to be on lease at all times. Please contact us if you wish to bring your pet dog. The Space: Our tiny house is a lovely studio space of 155 sqft. It offers guests a comfortable stay with its well-equipped kitchenette, complete with a queen sized bed, ensuite bathroom, air-conditioning and heating. Perfect for 2 persons! The kitchenette has everything you need to cook your light meals with. A portable cooker, cookware, cooking utensils, cutlery, dishes & silverware, microwave and even a mini fridge. The portable cooker can be kept in the drawers when not in use to maximise space. Our bathroom facilities follow ecologically sustainable principles, including a waterless eco-friendly compost toilet, hand basin and shower (gas heated for hot showers). In Australia's severe climatic challenge of bush fires and drought, we help to save the environment by conserving water using an eco-friendly toilet. Wastes are broken down in the compost toilet via an aerobic decomposition process. It is a waterless system (no need to flush!), whereas a standard dual flush toilet would use up to 350L of water per week.. An aeration fan helps in the decomposition process and minimises odours. If you're using your own soap, shampoo, tooth paste, we ask that you bring biodegradable ones so that the grey water runoff does not harm the environment. Thank you! Guest Access: Guests will have access to the tiny house and its surroundings. You can walk around our property by following tracks made by wombats and kangaroos. Look out for wildlife, you might come across kookaburras, kangaroos and echidnas. The Neighborhood: Explore and have an adventure.
