Sleeps 4 – 2 large double bedrooms (can be made twin) This is a delightful courtyard cottage, one of four set around a shared seating area. Take two steps up and enter into a well-equipped open plan living area with an open fire. An open tread wooden staircase takes you up to two super king-size bedrooms, both with an en-suite shower room ensuring privacy and luxury for all guests. Perfect for a fabulous holiday retreat. The two bedrooms have super king-size double beds which can be made into twin beds on request. Both bedrooms have an en-suite shower room with basin and WC. The is also a separate ground floor basin and WC. The open plan living area has the kitchen, dining area and comfortable sitting area with open log fire. Guests have access to the entire space. Guests are also welcome to walk around the Castle estate grounds. Cloncaird Castle is one of Scotland’s true hidden gems. Dating back to the 15th century, it stands in 140 acres of stunning surroundings beside the river Girvan at Kirkmichael, Ayrshire. We are only a short drive from Prestwick International Airport and one hour ten minutes from Glasgow Airport. Kirkmichael is the local village and the historic town of Ayr is nearby. Cloncaird Castle is located on the banks of the beautiful River Girvan. This setting gives the park a very exclusive feel and the estate also provides a superb base for exploring this stunning region of south-west Scotland. Walking and hiking tracks are plentiful in the area which is a paradise for keen equestrians. Our holiday cottages are also within easy reach of many Top Ayrshire Golf courses such as Turnberry, Prestwick and Troon.
