Don’t worry—we have a heater outside to help keep you warm while you enjoy the patio, the view, the conversation and the memories you can make during the winter. Welcome to LAKEVIEW LANDING of Lake Cumberland LAKEVIEW LANDING is approx. 6,000sq.ft. of casual luxury on Lake Cumberland and features 6 bedrooms and 5.5 baths; sleeping up to 16 guests. The home’s eclectic flair blurs the line between old, new, formal and casual to create our own version of “laid-back lake decor.” LAKEVIEW LANDING is happy to be dog-friendly. As soon as you walk in the front door at LAKEVIEW LANDING you’re drawn to the bright and open great room and the wall of windows that provides you with an amazing lake view. Vaulted ceilings, wood floors, fireplace, comfortable furniture and multiple eating areas make the room warm, inviting, and invigorating place to gather. Step out onto the upper deck that overlooks the lake and take in the views from any of the seating areas we have created. All of our bedrooms have Roku TVs, large closets, luggage racks/stands and soft & firm pillow options. Lakeview Landing has 4 Master Bedrooms with en-suites featuring king beds. Located at the rear of the home, Master Bedroom One features a jacuzzi tub and lake view; Master Bedroom Two also has views of the lake. Master Bedroom Three, located at the front of the house, features an en-suite and king bed. Bedroom One, at the front of the home, has a queen bed and direct access to the half bath. Master Bedroom Four, in the basement, features a king-size Sleep Number Bed, a futon, a gliding chair, and a private entrance to the lower patio. Our Bunk Room features 2 bunk beds, a loveseat and a PS2. Our fully-stocked kitchen is ready for you and all the memories your family will make! We have stocked the kitchen with everything from a cake pan to a quesadilla maker. Our coffee bar features a Keurig Duo, a kettle and french press, ground Starbucks coffee, a variety of K-Cups, teas, hot chocolate, cream, sugar, artificial sweetener and flavoring syrups. You will find a 10ft. farmhouse-style table in the dining room with seating for 10+ as well as a dry bar. Need something that we don't have? Simply contact your host and we will do our very best to accommodate. You will find the washer and dryer in the laundry room with an ironing board and a drying rack. Starter supply of detergent and fabric softer is provided. You can get your game on in the basement with your choice of a ping pong, darts, foosball or billiards. A variety of card games, board games and puzzles is also available in the large seating area near the TV. As mentioned above, there is a PS2 and an assortment of games in the Bunk Room. The Kitchenette in the basement is equipped with a refrigerator, stove, microwave and a Keurig The lower patio is covered and this is where you will find the gas grill, firepit, outdoor table & chairs, heater and the hot tub. Pets: LAKEVIEW LANDING WELCOME'S dogs, so please let us know. There is a $200 non-refundable Pet Fee for the first pet and $100.00 for each additional with a maximum of 2 dogs. Our neighborhood is a mix of locals & vacationers, is quiet but friendly, and we often wave with a “Hi neighbor” while out on a walk with the dog. Saturday and Sunday mornings are the best times to walk down the street and to the boat ramp with the dog for some quick exercise. During the summer and fall evenings you can smell BBQs and hear laughter as everyone collects on their decks to enjoy the sunset over the lake. There is plenty of parking on the property’s two driveways. Two restaurants/Pubs within walking distance for nightlife adventures after a day of living your best lake life. Quick and easy access to the lake neighborhood boat ramp. Somerset has everything you will need from Walmart to Hobby Lobby and everything in between. All of the popular fast food restaurants and a few of the national chain restaurants are available in Somerset right on Hwy 27 or “the main drag.” Hwy 27 through Somerset uses numbered stoplights, you may find it helpful to navigate around town if you remember that Sonny’s BBQ is located at light #8, for example.
