Rose Cottage - English Country Garden
Relax in a pristine natural setting. Situated right by a serene lake and surrounded by natural woodlands, the Rose Cottage allows for quiet privacy away from the main building of the Bed and Breakfast. Take a walk along the lake and watch beavers collect branches for their home, relax in a comfy chair on the porch and listen to the loons, or hike up into the highlands and admire the beauty of the lake and St.Ann's Bay from a lookout high above. The Rose Cottage is a rustic log-house-style building equipped with all the amenities you need to be comfortable and self sufficient. The 20x26 foot open space is furnished with two beds, a large sofa, a dining table with four chairs and a kitchenette, and there is still room to spare. A large modern bathroom can be accessed from the main room. An electric fireplace adds to a cozy atmosphere while baseboard heaters provide warmth. Two French doors allow for light and open to a private porch with view of the lake. You can park right next to the cottage at the end of the driveway. I give my guests space but am available when needed We are here, whenever you need us. We respect your privacy. The property is located in Indian Brook (Englishtown is just the postal address) right on the Cabot Trail approximately halfway between Baddeck and Ingonish, about half an hour south of Ski Cape Smokey and the Cape Breton Highlands National Park.
