Santiago STI is 1 hr 40 minutes through the mountains. Uber and Lyft do not work well in the área. There are many car rental places at and around the airport. There are many taxi services available with reasonable rates to both Sosua and Caberete each having many activities i.e. restaurants, bars, surfing, snorkling, horseback riding etc. The place is very safe and there are security guards that walk the grounds 24-7. The people are very friendly and helpful. The beach, spa, restaurants and bars are within a short walk. The house, pool and grounds are private and exclusive as part of the rental.
