Fully detached 2 bedroom villas or 1 bed beachfront apartment annexe, free wifi, & full kitchens, in case you prefer to dine at home! Beachcomber at Moonfish Villas offers 2 ensuite bedrooms, one with a Queen-sized bed and one with 2 extra-long twins. No children under 8 years old, please. Detached ocean-front villa with double balconies, Beachcomber sleeps up to 4 in two ensuite rooms with full kitchen, dining table inside, spacious great room. Outdoor dining area on top balcony, with seating to enjoy the stunning views across the garden & pool to the beach and small palm-fringed islands. Private entrance to villa, linens, towels, beach towels, shampoo, pillows, cutlery, dishes, pots & pans, starter pack with foil, salt & pepper, (not oil), plastic wrap, paper towels, toilet paper, etc, included. Dining table is very good area to work, directly beside wall plugs and wifi router. With restaurants, food vendors, and shops a short walk or drive away this is a perfect base for exploring the lush north of this very friendly island! One bedroom has a queen-sized bed and the second bedroom has two extra-long twin beds (same length as a queen for adult & teenager comfort!). Both bedrooms are the same size with their own closet space (hangars included) & shelves, and each has it's own large (8x5 feet) ensuite walk in shower room with toilet, rainfall showerhead, vanity and basin. The full kitchen comprises of a full size fridge/freezer, stove with oven & grill, toaster, kettle. Wide tiled counters give you loads of room to experiment with local ingredients... you'll find a small selection of Caribbean cookbooks to inspire you! Three detached villas, and an apartment, share a large fenced property and pool. Our garden path leads through our gate and directly onto the beach, and is lush with local flowers, palms & sea almond trees. These attract hummingbirds, cranes, iguanas and so on, which are fun to watch. We have an owl that comes in the evenings, and birds of prey and pelicans patrol the beach. Moonfish Beach Houses are not suitable for children under 8. Private use of the entire detached beachfront villa, shared gardens and pool. Currently, owners/managers live on the property in a smaller cottage, on the other side of the driveway and parking area. Always close enough to be of assistance if needed, but far enough away to allow you privacy! Remote, quiet, with local & expat neighbours creating a real Caribbean experience for travellers, sometimes there is music on Sunday afternoons down the beach (or Gospel!) when local families come to picnic down by the safe swimming area. We are located completely outside of the 'touristy' areas of the south, but our expat and retired local residents support the need for some fantastic restaurants - creating a selection that can't be matched down either coast of the island... We are very lucky! We are in a quiet, non-touristy, rural area, but local taxis are available to call. There are no buses past the property, and the winding road that passes us dead-ends at Levera Beach. No children under the age of 8. No non-resident guests are allowed on the property at any time. No smoking inside, outside is just fine!
