Packet House
Packet House is one of a collection of refurbished listed buildings in an historic area of Castletown in the south of the Isle of Man. Formerly the headquarters of the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company, the oldest ferry company in the world. Packet House has been refurbished to luxurious standards, with 2 double bedrooms, a comfortable open plan lounge and dining area featuring a protruding viewing gallery over the harbour. Castletown is a great base for a holiday, just 5 minutes from the airport and with a wide range of bars, restaurants and cafes close by. The historic Steam Railway runs through the town connecting it with the islands capital, Douglas and the seaside villages of Port Erin and Port St Mary. There are also many local Manx National Heritage sites. Parking is provided close by, with additional on street parking if required. No pets allowed.
