Mill View Barns are private, self contained and "sparkingly clean" away from the crowd. Thoughtfully designed & built the peaceful location is perfect for a short break, or cycling stopover. Underfloor heating, 1.5m shower+ bath, Hypnos beds, super king OR twin in each room + a sofabed, cotton sheets and often baking. Cooking facilities included, with 2 great pubs 1/2 mile away! We aim to make your stay comfortable so will help with any of your plans, just let us know. Come and enjoy! Guests love the open aspect, peace and tranquility when staying at Mill View Barns. It's perfect for those visiting the area for pleasure or business. Please note no parties or noisy get togethers. We ask that guest respect our recyling policy and keep landfil rubbish to a minium please. The barn is self contained and yours from the moment you arrive until you depart. We are wheelchair friendly with most needs can be accommodated. We're close by and happy to help during your stay. We've dropped people at the races and the pub as well as recommended one of the many lovely local walks. The village of Bishop Monkton is particularly beautiful with many character properties as well as two great pubs. All within easy walking distance. Parking is directly in front of the barn with easy access, even for wheelchairs. Bikes are accommodated in our purpose built internal bike store with kryptonite cable locks. The barns are located close to many lovely rural walks through open countryside or along the River Ure to Ripon (3miles). Harrogate, Ripon, Knaresborough, York and Leeds are all easily reached. Let us know if you've any particular questions Mill View Barns and Covid-19 As we all become accustomed to life in this Covid World, we’d like to share our plans for managing safety for all. We’re also mindful that our actions contribute to the prevention of virus spread. Our policy is based on recommendations from the World Health Organisation and the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control. We will avoid back-to-back guest stays. This will minimise the likelihood of contamination by allowing enough time for cleaning and disinfection. Based on the most recent information available the property will remain empty for a minimum of 24 hours after previous stay check-out, including cleaning time. Naturally we will all continue to monitor our own health, and seek medical advice/take appropriate action should we suspect Coronavirus symptoms. Guests We respectfully ask guests to: • Remove shoes as entering the property and leave by entrance. • Place all bagged up rubbish in the outside bins at the bottom of the drive, including recycled glass, tin, plastic in black box and paper in blue bag. • Prior to departure, strip beds and leave bedding bundle on the bed • Place all towels and tea towels in the bath • Inform us if a guest suspects they have Coronavirus • Antibacterial soap is provided as well as individual bars of soap … keep washing! In addition to our usual thorough cleaning routine • Housekeeping will practice enhanced hand hygiene (washing both hands and forearms for at least twenty seconds) before and after removing gloves. • Avoid touching their face during the clean. • The property will be aired and ventilated during and after cleaning. • High touch surfaces will be disinfected after each stay including: light switches, door handles, remote controls, lamp switches, toilets, sinks, all kitchen and bathroom surfaces, bedside side cabinets, hard backed chairs, tables, bin handles • Towels, linens and other laundry will be handled in gloves and washed on site at a minimum of 60 degrees, • All crockery, glass wear and cutlery will be dish washed at 70 degrees, including washing up brush. • Cleaning equipment will be cleaned and disinfected before and after use Our aim is to maintain a safe place for all guests to enjoy their stay.
