Colourful 3-4 Bed Victorian Cottage + Sunny Garden

Three-bedroom house with sofa bed in sitting room; my and Mandy's second home, but we spend more of our time in the south of France these days. Whilst many properties on Airbnb are exclusively commercial, this is our home and we take care to only host people we believe will treat it with respect. Two bedrooms completely refurbished in 2022. We would love to host you; please contact us with any questions you may have! This is our house, full of our stuff: books, records, paintings, pizza cutters, etc and when we're away the whole house is available to rent. There are three double bedrooms, one with an extra single bed and a comfortable double sofa bed in the sitting room. The sitting room and loft room have smart TVs, the dining room comes with CD player, record deck, Alexa and wood burning stove. The kitchen is fun to work in and well equipped, the bathroom has a big deep bath as well as a walk-in shower. There’s a sunny garden with chiminea and chairs and an additional toilet in the garage. The house and location are perfect for couples and families or for groups of friends or work colleagues. Beds: Loft room - double mattress (on floor), 1st floor back room - double bed, 1st floor front room - double bed (on platform, three steps) with single bed underneath, Sitting room - double sofa bed (IKEA). NB: Pricing is for four guests, additional guests £5 each per night. The whole house is yours. Use anything you find in the kitchen - leave some money if you use a lot of something or open a bottle of wine. Please do use the stereo to play CDs or records - just be careful with the records. (There are two cases full of old 45s - feel free to open them up and enjoy the hits of the 70s and 80s.) There are some guest drawers and hanging spaces which are clearly marked, otherwise please respect our privacy. We might not be contactable during your stay but our housekeeper Sam lives just a mile away and will be available to answer any questions or to take care of any problems. This listing of the whole house is for when we're away so we are unlikely to be meeting, but will always be available to answer any queries. Quiet area, LIDL 100 metres, pharmacy and bus stop 50 metres - frequent buses to Bristol and Bath city centres, Wetherspoon's pub 400 metres. Easy walking distance to traditional High Street with selection of pubs, restaurants, coffee shops, etc. Five-minute drive to 24-hour Asda and retail centre (M&S, Boots, etc). Less than ten-minute drive to leisure complex - gym, multi-screen cinema, bowling, many restaurants. Bus stop 50 metres, easy free parking on street. Check-in details will be visible to you via Airbnb 48 hours prior to the start of your stay. The stairs in the house are quite steep and may not be suitable for those with mobility issues or infants. There is a second toilet in the garage. Garage door key hanging on hook on inside of back door. Parking on the single yellow line on the road in front of our house is restricted to between 6.00pm and 8.00am and all day on Sunday. There are no restrictions on the opposite side of the road or in the adjoining streets.
