Garden Flat, Tangmere

The Garden Flat is lovely cottage set in the pretty village of Tangmere which is very conveniently situated for lots of events and attractions. Just to the east is the pretty town of Arundel, which boasts a castle, wildlife (wetlands) centre, cricket ground and lots of interesting shops. It holds an annual festival, and about 40 minutes' drive further east is the bustling coastal town of Brighton. Chichester is only 3 miles to the west of Tangmere and has a Festival Theatre, cathedral, shopping centre, leisure centre and mainline train station. There are several excellent beaches within a short drive, including West Wittering which is about 10 miles away. The race course and motor racing at Goodwood are within just a few miles, and there is also horse racing at Fontwell, just 3 miles away. The Tangmere Military Aviation Museum has been a popular attraction for military enthusiasts since 1982. Set on the former RAF Tangmere airfield, the museum is home to countless fascinating exhibits. Tucked at the end of a small no - through lane Garden Flat is a great base for visitors to get to all the many attractions in the area. Goodwood motor racing circuit and race course are within a ten minute drive, Chichester is only 3 miles to the west and the coast is within nine miles. The Downs are situated just to the north and Tangmere village itself is well served by a local shop and there is also the famous aviation museum. Garde Flat is  particularly well equipped and beautifully presented. Make use of the widescreen television in the large living room and cosy down on with a movie or two, or perhaps open up the patio doors and dine outside in the finer months. Garden Flat has well equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook up a feast while not out at one of the many local eateries. The cottage has one good sized double bedroom and family sized bathroom.  Both short term and longer breaks are allowed. Please note, this property is strictly no smoking and no pets.
