Nestled in the lovely hamlet of Vale Cordeiro, 3 kilometers* from the bustling town of Arganil. Ideal for families and groups wishing for a holiday home with security and privacy. The Pool gives the WOW factor. 4 double bedrooms with their own bathrooms. This is an old house and therefore please do not expect that everything is in a new condition This house has the quirky factor that instantly makes you feel at home. Space is in abundance both inside and outside. There are 2 self contained ensuite bedrooms off the courtyard and 2 more bedrooms upstairs over the large kitchen/ dining area. This means that individuals can roam (if you like to rise early) without potentially waking up other people who might like a sleep-in. This house definitely does not conform to the stereo typical 2 up, 2 down house. We find children love it for this very reason. The pool area can be made safe for children when not supervised by ensuring that the door and gate provided are closed and bolted. The pool area has a built bar-b-que and table and chairs for al-fresco dining on balmy summer evenings. The large terrace off the upstairs living room and overlooking the pool offers yet another space to enjoy the views both during the day but especially at night under the stars while sipping a glass of wine or an ice cold beer.........Heaven ! All of the property except 1 bedroom which is accessed independently. Most of the neighbours are small farmers and very friendly. Nice walks through neighbouring villages and forestry. A car would be a great asset. Taxis are very reasonable, and there is a limited bus service to Arganil morning and evening. If you are feeling energetic there is a shortcut to Arganil through forestry which is down hill, but of course the return journey is all uphill. The town of Arganil has an abundance of shops and cafes. There are 2 major Supermarkets in Arganil Intermarche and Lidl. This property is equiped with high speed fiber broadband with a potential combined 100 Mbps. Plenty of opportunity for gaming. Netflix, Youtube and Multi lingual TV channels. There is a cleaning service at an extra charge if you require. However experience tells us that our guests prefer to do this themselves when nesserary without the intrusion of others. Free use of the washing machine is provided, and a change of bed linen and towels are also provided on request if staying for 7 days or more. Please ask for these when i come to service the pool.
