Country house with panoramic view
Surrounded by woodland, consists of three bedrooms to accommodate eight people, along with a lounge, a kitchen, two bathrooms, and a garage. It is the ideal place for those who wish to spend a quiet holiday in the countryside taking relaxing walks and tours and enjoying the characteristic local festivals. The villa is surrounded by the countryside of Palombara Sabina and is located in St. John in Argentella, opposite the Abbey which took the same name. The place is renown for the numerous fairs, festivals and cultural events including the “Festival of the Cherries” and the National Exhibition of extra virgin olive oil of Sabina, the Festival of the “Virgin of the Snow”, the “Festival of Saint Anthony", the "Festival of St. Blaise" and the Palombara Music Festival which takes place each summer. In addition, there are many other locations nearby that will make your stay always interesting and exciting. Within a short distance there is the Abbey of St. John Argentella (just opposite the villa), the Church of Santa Maria Annunziata also known as the Church of Santa Maria del Gonfalone, the Church of St. Blaise, the Monastery of St. Nicholas, the village and the castle of Castiglione and the "Terme di Cretone", the spa in the village of Cretone. The Mount Lucretili Nature Park is a great attraction and is an ideal place for excursions. Also, we would highly recommend a visit to the two "Lagustelli” of Percile and the beech-tree forests of Valle Cavaliera. Finally, not far from the location there is Tivoli, an old town rich in history and art. Also notable are the archaeological sites of Hadrian's Villa and Villa d'Este (both part of the UNESCO world heritage sites), the Gregorian Villa, the Roman amphitheatre also called amphitheater of Bleso, the Church of San Giovanni Evangelista, the Acropolis, which includes the Temple of Vesta and many other sites of great historical interest.
