Le Cerisier, traditional riverside cottage

Le Cerisier is a traditional cottage set in a quiet hamlet. The kitchen and lounge open onto a sunny terrace, perfect for breakfast, and the back garden runs down to a beautiful shallow mill stream. Ideal for country walks and nature spotting, near to ancient villages with bars, restaurants and little shops with opportunity to visit chateaux, roman sites, vinyards, lakes and rivers. I live next door to the property and look forward to meeting you and chatting about the local area. I do work full time but am usually around in the evening if you need help or advice. The best thing about this area is the beautiful countryside accessible for walking, but there are plenty of amenities within reach and several very interesting towns, such as Brantôme, with its Abbey or Aubeterre, overlooking the river Dronne, with narrow streets, a pretty square and several lively restaurants.
