Situated 30 mins walk through the olive groves from Trevi , this attractive stone apartment is the perfect way to spend time in Umbria - It is half an hours drive from Perugia airport that boasts regular flights from Stansted or 90mins from Rome airports It is less than an hour from all the most important places to see such as Assisi (30mins), Perugia and Todi (45mins), Montefalco Spello and Spoleto (15mins). Other walks are a short walk or drive away. This cosy apartment is separate from main house and consists of lounge with double divan bed, separate bathroom with shower wc and washbasin and mezzanine - the latter is only suitable for sleeping or sitting and reading. There is an equipped kitchen and a table for eating plus a bistrot table al fresco. Trevi is a medievale hill top town it has 2 grocers, two cafes in the squares for breakfast, with outside seating for continental breakfast drinks and ice creams and snacks, a tourist office, 5 restaurants. Children's play park - open air swimming pool from first week June to beginning of September. 5 mins drive to shopping mall and larger shops. - washing machine available. Car is necessary. Trevi has an open air swimming pool open from mid June to end of September. I might not always be there but you can always call me. La Casetta is in a residential/country area 20 mins walk from Trevi the main town. And sits on the St. Francis way. Umbria is an incredible place, located right in the middle of Italy, home to amazing wines, food and olive oil. Collecchio is a specific area of Trevi, a beautiful narrow road on the side of the hill, right in the middle of the Via Francigena, a walk that extends through central Italy, once walked by S. Francis. Trevi is the perfect location to visit Perugia (40mins) Assisi (25mins) Montefalco (15mins) Spoleto (15mins) Spello (20mins) drive. Each town has ample parking facilities. Most towns are on hills so you may develop good calf muscles. There is disabled parking in the centre of all towns. The only flat towns nearby are Foligno and Bevagna - Both worth a visit. The area around la Casetta is great for walking. Either from the apartment or a short drive away. There is only one living and sleeping space, it is possible to sleep a third person on the mezzanine but it is a low roof. No children on the mezzanine it could be dangerous.
