It has its own picturesque little railway station with regular trains into York, a journey of 6 minutes. Good bus service also. There is ample free and safe parking in the village and at the property. Poppleton has its own railway station on the York to Leeds line, the station being 300m from the accommodation. The journey in to York station takes 6 minutes There is a very frequent bus service - the number 10 bus from York stops 50m from the accommodation. The number 59 express bus drops off at the Poppleton Park and Ride car park, 10 minutes walk from the accommodation.
