Surroundings are tranquil, even the local coffee shop is very quiet and you may just decide to walk downstairs for a coffee any time. Just a short 3-minute walking distance away is the local farmer's market, grocery and drug stores, bakeries, and restaurants. Likewise, beautiful walkways along the river, lined up with tall, lush trees on both sides of the river. The condo is newly renovated, with an open interior, modern and comfortable. Clean and uncluttered. Spacious. All of it can be accessed, except for the left-side drawers in the kitchen island. While cleaning service is provided, cleaning supplies and equipment, such as vacuum, washer/drier-in-one, iron & ironing board. These are stored in various closets. The iron is stored in the right-side drawers of the kitchen island. You have the place to yourself, undisturbed. You may be able to reach me remotely any time. My contact information is provided in the property guidebook, which you will see post-booking. The condo is in the part of the city named Grbavica I (one), pronounced Ger'-bah-vih-tsa. It is superbly located very close to the city center, yet far enough to provide a relatively secluded dwelling, allowing restful stay. Nearby are various points of interest, such as the River Miljacka, pronounced "Mih'-lya-tsa", with beautiful banks lined with trees, providing opportunities for leisurely walks or healthy jogging, whatever your pleasure. A nice coffee house Papagaj, pronounced Pah-pah'-guy, meaning parrot, is in the same building, and has lots of seating outside, in a nice setup surrounded with trees. Next building over is a pharmacy. And nearby are also lots of stores: grocery- and drug-stores, farmer's market, a great restaurant Paper Moon - this is the actual name, very upscale with delicious food, only five-minute walk. Sarajevo taxi is very inexpensive, mostly because distances are very close. You may literally walk to all the important parts of the city. Center is 20 minutes away. City end, a beautiful Austro-Hungarian building Vijecnica, pronounced Vih-yech'-nih-tsa, is a 40-minute walk. You could also take public transportation, also very cheap. A tram runs not far on the other side of the river. A trolley-bus is even close, going the opposite direction. The condo is on the first floor, which in Bosnia is one level above the ground level. This 15-story residential building has business spaces at the ground level. There is a key to the building itself, which will be supplied.
