With a beautiful garden space and local amenities, this is the perfect place to use as a base whilst you explore York. Regular transport from the village means you are never far from the city centre. There are welcoming pubs in the village for nights when you prefer to stay local, but NO takeaways to be brought in. For all guests, sheet/towel laundry, room cleaning is included. Personal laundry will be £10 per week. Check-in after 3.00 pm and check-out by 10.00 am Lovely family home in the attractive village of Poppleton, with easy access to York city. The village has lovely river walks, 4 public houses and good local amenities. You will have a choice of your own private double bedroom or single bedrooms, all with very comfy bed, wardrobe, drawers and desk, all kept to a high standard of cleanliness. If ever required, another room with sofa bed can be easily prepared as a further bedroom. You will have access to a shared family bathroom and use of a separate living room for breakfast and TV if required. We have been homestay hosts for 8 years and many of our homestays have come back to visit us on a number of occasion as they felt homely and well looked after.
