VILLA MILA - Hospitality in a large old mansion

VILLA MILA The Villa, of more than 800 square meters and surrounded by a private park of green lawns and secular plane trees, is rented entirely to only one group of persons and can host up to 25 pers. (12 pax minimum + up to 13 pax on request). Ideal for large groups. An off ground swimming pool opens from June 15 to September 15. Villa Mila lies along the Adige river in the village of Villa Bartolomea, of which the ancestors of the present owner were feudal lords since the 15th century. Villa Mila is furnished with antique paintings and furniture and has the carachter of a family old mansion but equpped with every modern comfort. The kitchen and the dining room are fully provided with cutlery, dishes, glasses and crockery up to 30 people. Arrangements with local catering organisations providing lunches or dinners or special events on request, have been made by the owner at reasonable prices. Maid services are available upon request. 10 mountain bikes are at free disposal for guests. At the first floor (up to 12 people) there are 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms and one toilet at the ground floor. At the second floor (additional 13 people) there are 8 bedrooms and 5 other bathrooms. Also 3 children beds and 3 baby cots are available to be placed in any bedroom. Upon request 2 twin beds can be switched into double beds. The Guests have exclusive access to the large park around the Villa - of about 2 hectars - where they can also park their cars. The large terraces and a barbecue can also be used for outdoor meals. An incoming service is provided at the arrival and, during their stay, the Guests are assisted by the English speaking housekeeper, living separately in the compound, in any of their needs concerning tourist information, organisation of special events, booking of concerts, operas, theatres, etc. Consider that the 14 rooms are equipped as follows: 3 rooms have double beds inside, 8 have twin beds and 3 have single beds. However 3 of the twin beds can be switched into double beds upon request From the villa you can walk into the village of Villa Bartolomea where there are variuos shops, café’s and restaurants. Walking and cycling paths over the banks of the Adige river. At the bottom of the village there is also a local train station connecting the village to Verona and Rovigo stations and from there you can easily get major railways to the most important cities of the region (such as Venice, Bologna, Padova, Vicenza and Ferrara) Cars are reccomended in order to visit the main historical and artistic cities in the surroundings. The villa is in the heart of a highly suggestive rural setting comprised of the ample plains of the 'Great Veronese Valleys'. Here the three regions of Veneto, Lombardy and Emilia Romagna come together, offering attractions of great cultural, artistic and environmental interest. Ideal position for visiting cities and places of enormous appeal such as: Verona, Mantua, Ferrara, Vicenza, Padua, Lake of Garda and the Delta of the Po river (all within the distance of 60 Km). And Venice is only 100km far! CENTRAL HEATING PAYABLE APART ON CONSUMPTION BASIS. Final cleaning costs shall be charged to the Guest, and paid in cash upon arrival, for an amount of Euro 350.00, up to 12 people, and Euro 20.00 for any additional person over 12. A security deposity of Euro 700.00 shal be also requested to the Guest, and paid in cash upon arrival, and shall be reimbursed to the Guest at his departure unless any brekeage or damage caused by the latter must be reimbursed to the owner.
