'Peche' at La Grange du Moulin

On site we have a safely enclosed play garden; an enclosed pool area with two pools (one specifically for toddlers and babies) Ideal for families. The cottage is light and spacious. You have wifi both inside the cottage and some outdoor areas too. The cottage is yours and you will have your own private entrance. The communal areas shared with other cottages are the play garden, swimming pool area, laundry room, parking areas and all outdoor areas . You have your own terrace and garden area for outdoor eating. Our family live on site and will greet you on your arrival and show you around. We are available between the hours of 8am and 8pm 7 days a week for anything (beach recommendations, a chat about wine, a spare set of bedding or an extra pillow) and are also available at all other times in an emergency. We are located on the edge of a rural hamlet deep in the French countryside. There are no bars or restaurants or even a boulangerie to walk to (nearest is 3km) There are however lots of beautiful country walks, cycling routes and peace and quiet - the reason most families return to us year after year - it's a great place for children and families just wanting to relax. We are also an easy 1hr drive to the coast and it's hundreds of miles of sandy beaches, there's a swimming lake just 30mins away, the world famous towns of Saintes and Cognac too. Bordeaux is just 1hr30 away. There's so much to see and do - or just chill out with a glass of wine while your children make new friends in the play garden We are very rural so a car is essential and there is no public transport plus taxis are few and far between and expensive (30€ one way to the local town, just 10km away) saying that, driving is easy - clear roads all the way to the coast plus plenty of free and easy parking . We will ask guests to respect social distancing with the other families on site due to the Covid 19 crisis. We ask everyone has a minimum of a self test just before arrival. There is no television. No pets are allowed. This property is for families with children.
