Luxury, large family apartment, private entrance

A two-bedroom apartment (70 m2) is a comfortable place for a large family or a small group of up to 4 people who can enjoy a large living and dining place, cook their own meals in a kitchen with an induction cooking-top, oven, and large fridge. It has a private bathroom, private entrance, and terrace. The apartment is located in a new private house in Medvode, suburbs of lively Ljubljana at the border of the Polhograjski Dolomiti landscape park. Domovoj, rooms, and apartments, is located in VILLAGE Vaše, close to Medvode (5 min) and Ljubljana center (15 km, 20 min) by car. The apartment is large, with two bedrooms. In the FIRST BEDROOM, there is a double bed (180 x 200), and two comfortable sofas. In the SECOND BEDROOM, there is a bunk bed (80x200). There are a wardrobe and a lot of space for luggage. In the bathroom, there is a shower, a sink, and complimentary bathroom essentials. A toilet is private. The towels, slippers, and bed linen will be provided. It has a PRIVATE ENTRANCE from the courtyard in front of the house. From the ground floor, there is also an entrance to the large garden where kids can even RUN AND PLAY. Guests have access to TERRACE with furniture set where you can relax. We can arrange you a GRILL. If you stay longer, you can use our washing machine and any detergent, hair dryer, iron and anything else you might need - as at home. We will do my best to make your stay as pleasant as possible and help you with all the LOCAL RECOMMENDATIONS (restaurants, hiking options, cultural events, natural sights etc.). We speak fluent English, German, Serbian and Croatian. At your arrival we will show you the apartment and tell you everything you need to know. And the will be a warm “come back soon” at your departure. In-between: if you prefer to be alone that`s perfect. You will have all privacy as possible but we are living in this house so this should be respected. If you would like to meet us and chat, have a common meal, barbecue, it`s fine for us, too. That is why we decided to share our home with you. We have been travelling a lot and have been welcome in different places in Europe and other parts of the world and would like to share this to you, too. If you need a PICK-UP (and delivery) at airport Ljubljana (Brnik) or train (bus) station, let us know and we will provide this transfer (extra charge). If you will come late or at night we will help you to find a place or even pick you up in near town Medvode. If you have any question, feel free to ask. Town Medvode is called also "Green doors of Capital" as it is very close to Ljubljana (15 km) but also very close to nature. There are good road connections around and you will not need more than 2 hours drive to reach any part of Slovenia (you are in Ljubljana in 20 minutes). If you don't have your own car with you, you can use the regional bus (closes bur stop 100 m away) or Ljubljana city bus (1 km away) or even train (Medvode station 1,4 km away). Ljubljana airport is 16 km away. Medvode offers a lot of activities in nature. You will find a beautiful lake Zbilje close by (2 km) where you can rent a boat and look for young swans. Or you can hike in 'Polhograjsko hribovje' hills with plenty of hiking and biking trails for the whole family. You can also climb Šmarna Gora (6 km), a popular tourist destination of Ljubljana. And when you become hungry, in Medvode there are two pizza restaurants, two classical restaurants, and a bakery shop (for fresh morning bread) grocery shops, a shopping center, additional restaurants … and a lot of friendly people you can ask for advice (almost everybody in Slovenia speaks at least English. Village Vaše and town Medvode (15 minutes walk from our place) are very close to Ljubljana (15 km, 20 minutes by car, there are regular city buses and trains) but also very close to Ljubljana airport (Brnik or Jože Pučnik airport) which is 18 km away, 30 min by car. GETTING TO US It is better to spend your money on vocations not traveling there. To get to us in a low-cost way you can use low-cost airlines to fly to Ljubljana, Venice Treviso (IT), Trieste (IT), Klagenfurt (AU), and Zagreb (CRO). From there you can get a shuttle transfer to Ljubljana and we will pick you up there. We can help you with information on how to do it. Vaše / Medvode is a good starting point for making day trips in Slovenija. The highways are just a few km away (for Gorenjska, Bled, Bohinj region, 10 km), for the rest of Slovenia, 8 km. Coming from far away countries and you would like to see Venice in Italy, Vienna in Austria or Budapest in Hungary. No problem: you can reach and visit each of them in even one day trip by car (highways only, 4 hours to Venice, 3 hours to Vienna). Better: make it in two or three days.
