Aotearoa is part of the Gadlys Coastal Cottages group in Churcy Bay Anglesey. Large sitting room, 4 bedrooms, 1 ensuite, 1 bathroom and 1 extra toilet. AIRBNB DO NOT COLLECT FEES FOR DOGS SO IT SHOULD BE PAID ON ARRRIVAL.Just 5 minutes walk to Church Bay beach. Dog friendly. Weekly lets are Friday changeover, out of season (Nov to March excluding school holidays) we take 2 night breaks but you need to enquire about them. Very large sitting room and beautiful garden suitable for families with children and dogs as well who are welcome (charge of £25 per dog per stay to be remitted direct). Sea views from the sitting room are beautiful and it overlooks an old mill. It's on a private lane and is the last house so you'll have plenty of privacy and peace and quiet. We can do a discount for couples so please enquire. There's a second small sitting room with TV - ideal for a bit of quiet time. TV is free sat channels in both sitting rooms. Kitchen is well equipped with crockery, cooking utensils etc and fridge freezer. There's also a second fridge freezer in the utility room. Wifi included ideal for #workcation as there is a desk in the sitting room. Please note if you are hoping to bring dogs you must state it on your enquiry and pay for them on arrival. Total access to all areas of the property with the exception of the garage. You'll be welcomed with a cake and I'm available by phone or text during your stay to help you any time up to 10.00pm. On changeover days I'm not always available immediately so I'll make arrangements with you if not. The neighbourhood is a quiet rural location very close to the beach just 5 minutes walk to the bay where there is a cafe, restaurant, and a lovely little thatched cottage museum which is open to the public (check for seasonal opening hours with all attractions). There is a pub also within walking distance but at the time of writing it doesn't do food (!), however the views across the sea from there are spectacular and they welcome dogs and have a great outdoor seating area. They host a quiz every Sunday night and do put on other events in the summer. The Wavecrest cafe does good lunches (cheese and onion pie and scones are a must), the Lobster Pot restaurant also does great lunches and is a lovely treat for an evening meal. Church Bay beach is a lovely cove with sand, rock pools and the odd cave a low tide and nearby Borthwen beach is almost always secluded. The Coastal Path of Anglesey runs within 5 minutes walk of the cottage which is stunning, with gorgeous views worthy of the mediterranean across National Trust headland. It runs for 179 miles around the coast of Anglesey if you're feeling energetic! As well Anglesey can boast a racetrack, go-carting, outdoor pursuit centres, Sea Zoo, Butterfly farm, a strange, almost lunar landscape at Parys Mountain (Copper Mountain), great heritage sites and of course, the best beaches in Wales we think. We have a Michelin starred restaurant - but if you're coming be prepared to book a year in advance - Sosban, and lots of other great restaurants - one of my favourites is the White Eagle at Rhoscolyn which is about a 15 minute drive. This isn't suitable for public transport really you need a car as it's a rural community. It's about a 10-15 minute drive to larger shops (Tesco, Morrisons), however there are convenience stores closer. This house is centrally heated by thermostatically controlled heaters and has a log burning fire. There is a utility room with washing machine and dryer and a large kitchen, granite worktops and a range cooker. The oak dining table seats 8 and overlooks the sea.
