Welcome to Atticus Farm! The cozy farmhouse is nestled in a valley w/ panoramic mountain views, sleeps 6 with 1 king bed, 1 queen bed and 2 single beds. Enjoy 31 private acres on our active, regenerative farm, with a pond and hiking trails. Work from the desk with super fast wifi & mountain views. Gaze up at the stars in the hot tub after a day of skiing at Belleayre (30 min away). A cooks dream, the fully equipped kitchen features a professional induction range and pantry full of spices. The house is modern take on a farmhouse with a deck and hot tub. The kitchen is great for those who love to cook, but don't stress if you don't want to, Marty's Mercantile and Bread Alone are close as well as Woodstock and Phoenicia restaurants. The house has a Sonos sound system and projector for when you want to sit on the leather couch and relax. The house sits in a sunny valley with mountain views. It's close to the Ashokan reservoir and Peekamouse Blue Hole. The property has 31 acres with hiking trails through the woods, a pond, and large fire pit. Atticus Farm is an active, small scale farm focused on regenerative farming practices including vegetables, fruit trees, flowers, herbs, chickens and heritage pork. Guests have private access to the house, deck, hot tub and fire pit. The barn, hoop house, green house, chicken coop and pig paddocks are off limits unless you are with an Atticus Farm employee. Megan and Ethan manage the farm and will be your point of contact for your stay. Located in the Catskill Mountains in the NYC Watershed, not far from the Ashokan Reservoir. This is a rural location close to NY State Parks. You'll need a car to access this house. The Trailways Bus goes to Woodstock or Phoenicia. There are no Uber cars in the area. If taking the bus, set up a private Taxi ahead of time with Phoenicia Transport or Woodstock Taxi. Our property is a working farm! There are laying hens, as well as hogs that are pastured in the forest. There is electric fencing around the 31 acre perimeter as well as around paddocks in the woods that is clearly visible. While you will have plenty of privacy, you may see us coming to feed the animals and working around the farm. We kindly ask that our guests do not go into the hoop house, greenhouse, wood shop, chicken coop or pig paddocks.
