The property is located directly on the splendid sea of Acciaroli (Pollica - SA), on the ground floor in a semi-detached house with a roof garden; located in a closed private park, "Parco Caleo", in a quiet and peaceful area. It is made available for at least 1 week. 5% discount for those who book two weeks. The house has two large bedrooms, living room with TV and sofa bed, kitchen, bathroom with shower, closet, washing machine, dishwasher and mosquito nets. By simply crossing the garden, you can directly access the beach under the house. It has a large partially covered patio, outdoor shower with hot water, parasols and a small barbecue. on maps we are in the "Parco Caleo condominium"; enter the driveway behind the iron gate, we are in the third of four houses (see last photo). You can also find us looking for the name of the structure "the house on the cliff" If you are by car to get to Acciaroli, from the A 3 Salerno-Reggio Calabria you must take the Battipaglia exit and then take the Strada Statale 18 Tirrenia Inferiore towards Agropoli sud and follow the signs for Acciaroli. If, on the other hand, you travel by train coming from the stations of Naples and Salerno, you must arrive at the Agropoli-Castellabate railway station and from there use the local transport to get to Acciaroli. If you are traveling by plane, the airport is Naples Capodichino; from Naples you can reach Acciaroli either by train or by bus. In summer the Cilento town can also be reached by sea using the Alicost hydrofoil service with departures from Salerno (Molo Manfredi) towards Acciaroli. Always available on mobile or by email The town center is just over 1 km away, and can be reached in a quarter of an hour on foot; in the park there are 3 other villas with gardens like this one, each with independent entrance. The nearest sandy beach (with free zone and with establishment) is instead about 800mt. Under the house instead you will find more coves of stones and rocks for almost exclusive use (accessible only by those who live in the park or by sea). On the side of the coast facing Pioppi, there are a series of only free beaches, characterized by more rocky stretches, with pebbles and rocks. One of these is the Caleo beach, so called because it rises near the tower of the same name. Acciaroli is famous for its marina and its beaches. For several years the town has obtained the "5 sails" of Legambiente and the Blue Flag of the beaches for the quality of its waters. The town is located in the territory of the Cilento and Vallo di Diano National Park. It is considered the cradle of the Mediterranean diet, an intangible heritage of humanity, as certified by UNESCO. Taking advantage of a trip to Acciaroli you will enjoy, alongside the seaside holiday and the joys of the table, also the warm hospitality of its people. The property is 20 km from Castellabate, which awaits you with its medieval center, 55 minutes' drive from the Temples of Paestum and 1 km from the port of Acciaroli, with ferry connections to Capri, Ischia and Palinuro. However, do not miss the opportunity to explore the nearby hamlet of the municipality of Pollica, located on a small promontory; it conserves a small 12th century church, the Annunziata church, a Norman tower and a Franciscan convent. In Pioppi you can visit the Museum of the Sea, which has become an important reference for research and awareness on the problems of the sea, in an elegant building, also home to a Festival dedicated to the Mediterranean diet, made known by the physiologist Ancel Keys who was able to study and deepen the advantages of the lifestyle of its inhabitants. In Celso there is the Mazziotti baronial palace with its majestic facade, while in Cannicchio you can stroll through the interesting tangle of alleys that characterize its urban layout. Acciaroli will guarantee you a holiday on not very popular beaches, in a land also loved by E. Hemingway who drew inspiration here for his novel, The Old Man and the Sea. Finally, it is located in a strategic position, convenient for visiting all of Cilento, if desired. We recommend masks and rubber shoes for those who want to bathe under the house. The seabed is rich in sea urchins, polyps, and fish of various species. There is no shortage of starfish!
