Ano Mera is one of the oldest villages on the island and the second-largest village after Mykonos Town. Compared to Mykonos Town, it is a quiet village where local residents go about their daily routine without the crowds of tourists seen in the larger town. The apartment is located outside the center of the village, within walking distance to the sandy beach of Paralia Kalo Livadi, one of the longest beaches on the island. It is on the southeast coast of Mykonos. Kalo Livadi is ideal for all ages. One section of the beach offers umbrellas, sunbeds, beach bars, and seaside taverns. The other section does not offer any organized services, such as sunbeds and umbrellas. There are also two very nice beaches nearby on either side of Kalo Livadi: Elia and Kalafatis.
