Kenepuru view - Spacious house & easy road access

Property located between Te Mahia and Portage resorts. Close to a private breach, just a 3 minute drive to the Portage resort & the entrance to the Queen Charlotte Track near Toria Bay. From Friday 11 March at 6pm, the Kenepuru Road status will change to Restricted Public Access. This means that a pass is not required if your vehicle complies with the below: Combined vehicle length under 12.6m Combined weight under 3.5t Width under 2.5m Not classed as an Heavy Commercial Vehicle (HCV) Our place has a well equipped modern kitchen and well furnished living area. Two toilets and two bathrooms (both with showers) & four bedrooms, so ideal for family groups. A new heat pump was installed in 2018 & is very effective at maintaining the temperature all year round. The spacious sun drenched deck has amazing views of the Kenepuru Sounds. The windout shade sail provides much needed shade to the deck in the summer. The section is large and covered in native bush, so there is plenty to explore for the kids. A number of friendly Weka who have taken up residence on the property and keep the children entertained with their antics. Walk down a native bush track to a private beach cove where you can swim, launch your kayak to explore, or fish off the rocks. We have ample parking up the driveway and there is a decent sized turnaround bay at the end of the street for larger vehicles. Our neighbours on either side are permanent residents and retired to this beautiful spot to enjoy the quiet life. Thanks for your consideration. A DVD player is available together with a selection of kids and other DVDs. A selection of books and board games are also available. The place is well fitted out with electrical appliances with a modern oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, sandwich press, hairdryer etc available We provide our cell details and are happy to answer questions to help you enjoy your stay Duvets are provided (as pictured) and mattress protectors are also fitted to the (brand new) beds. Kayaks can be hired from Mistletoe Bay (10 minutes drive back towards Linkwater). We do not provide sheets for the beds as we are not local and it s too difficult to launder them. Guests will need to bring their own sheeting/sleeping bags. Guests are expected to clean up prior to departure. This includes emptying the dishwasher, vacuuming the floor, cleaning the bbq, making all the beds and taking your rubbish with you. Please note a $50 admin fee applies per booking. This is shown as a cleaning fee as this is the only option available on AirBnB website. Rubbish can also be disposed of at the skip located just before Portage. This costs $3 per visit (must be a $2 and a $1 coin) and will take a couple of large rubbish bags plus recycling.
