Eggs & Bacon Bay, Tasmania - "Pam's Place" - House

Three minutes walk to the beach via the footpath access off Flakemores Road. Pam's Place is north facing on Eggs and Bacon Bay, with beautiful views from the deck and only 50 minutes from Hobart. Drive through the scenic Huon Valley and relax in front of a roaring log fire, or sit on the sunny front deck. Please note that Eggs and Bacon Bay has no local shopping. Your nearest grocery shops are in Cygnet or Snug. Both are on the Channel Highway, B68, but on opposite sides of the Snug Tiers. Pam's Place is a self-contained small house. You have access to both bedrooms, living space, front deck and an enclosed yard. The kitchen is set up for self-catering, and there's a washing machine and clothesline if you need to do laundry. John lives across the road at Number 82 Flakemores Road. He'll help with any issues you may have. Eggs and Bacon Bay is a traditional retreat for Hobart residents, with a history of timber getting before that. Orchards, sheep raising, vineyards and salmon provide local employment. There is no public transport to Eggs and Bacon Bay, but there is to Cygnet. Basic tea and coffee making supplies are ready for you to enjoy while you unpack. The pantry contains some bulk grocery items and condiments for you to use, but other than that, you will need to bring your food with you. The nearest grocery store is in Cygnet, 15 minutes away. The nearest larger supermarket is in Huonville, half an hour away.
