Charlies Cottage in Yarramalong
*** Pet friendly *** Limited mobile reception *** TV for DVD use only Have a break from the hustle and bustle and spend a couple of nights in the quiet, peaceful surrounds of the Valley. Charlies Cottage is an Historic Heritage Cottage (circa 1901) in one of the most picturesque country areas of NSW. This is an early settlers cottage and is offered for such an experience. This character filled, pet-friendly, 2 bedroom cottage with all the charm of yesteryear, as such, it is in original and authentic condition. Whether you are a family wanting a relaxing getaway with plenty for the kids to do; or a couple who want a romantic getaway set against a backdrop of the gorgeous Yarramalong Valley, we are certain you will have a great time at Charlies Cottage. The main bedroom has a queen bed with wool blanket & doona. A very big bed that is very snugly to sink into! The second bedroom has a double bunk bed (2 in the bottom bunk and a single on top) and another single bed, complete with wool blankets & doona. All linen is provided (incl. towels). A note to guests - the property is not fenced so you will need to keep your dogs on a leash at all times when outside. Your furry friends are welcome inside the cottage :) Although there is easy access to the cottage, there are a few stairs to the front door. The Yarramalong township is 3 km from the Cottage. The Tuggerah Westfield is a 20 minute drive as is the Wyong Township. As many of our reviews attest, the cottage is clean and tidy, original in form and function. Amenities are basic so we rely on our guests to supply any prefered or particular wash, tidy or other comfort items. As of 2021, the NBN is not supplied in this area, so we rely on local Telstra and Optus transmission towers for reception of mobile signal.
