South Mandurang Retreat

Welcome. Due to the nature of our house/program we’ll only be accepting guests with reviews. Over Christmas, New Year, Easter we’ll only accept 5 night bookings, long weekends 3 night bookings. Thank you for your understanding. Our house is used midweek by volunteers for tutoring children who find school challenging. WholeBrain Bendigo is a learning program. Our volunteers help students develop positive learning strategies. To help our program continue we offer the house as accommodation. This renovated country homestead consists of large Open plan living, dining, kitchen with additional separate living area. - TV and DVD player in lounge -equipped kitchen with dishwasher - laundry with washing machine and dryer The home has large windows in all rooms to capture the beautiful surrounding gardens with s secure fenced yard with trampolines. There are 2 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms with either a bedding configuration of 3 king beds or 6 single bed with ducted heating and cooling throughout. -Towels and linen supplied -Extra floor accommodation is available to sleep an extra 4 guests -Portable cot and high chair available Enjoy and cup of tea under the veranda that shades the entire homestead and watch the local wildlife.....kangaroos, native birds and echidnas. Feel free to try your luck with some fishing or catch a yabby in the Dam. On request the property has a large room that can be available if required eg. For special interest groups that may need the large space to meet, share or create etc. Please refer to the attached floor plan. Rooms marked in blue are not available to the public. These rooms will be locked. Greg and I live 3 minutes from the property, we are often available if you need anything help. Minutes from local winery's. 20 minutes from Castlemaine. 1.5 hours from Melbourne All linen provided this a rural property relying on tank water so we therefore ask if guests can take this into consideration and use water wisely
