Quiet Family Home Near Logas

A unique combination of comfort & ambience. Ideal for both couples & families, located in a quiet corner of Peroulades village, 0.5 kms away from the famous Logas (Sunset Beach). Staying in our home is equivalent to living in a quiet, calm village house. The front balcony offers you the chance to relax and socialise in the cool shade, while there is a lawn in the front yard for sunbathing and children to play. The rear balcony has a view of our organic field and there is also a pergola on the southern side of the house, where you can enjoy coffee or tea. Understanding your needs we have equipped our house with appliances for your convenience, entertainment and information. Guests have access to all spaces and the organic field, if they are interested in learning about the joy of organic cultivation, where my husband grows vegetables. A storage room, on the northern side of the house is not accessible as it is the room where we store our things. We are eager to help our guests. As we stay in a village a few minutes away, we are on hand to give any help or information, if needed. Necessary consumables are provided for the first couple of days, as well as a welcome basket with local products. Five minutes away is the famous Logas (Sunset) beach, where guests can enjoy a drink or order food throughout the day until late at night. There are tavernas, restaurants, coffee shops and a bakery in the village, accessible on foot or bicycle. The nearest super market is 1 km away. Cape Drastis, a famous rocky small beach, with a natural pool and a view to Albania, is accessible by bicycle or car (5 min.). The area above and around the village is for hiking lovers, with stunning views out to sea and olive grove scenery. A car is necessary for exploration of the greater area. There is an extensive taxi and public bus service, to and from Corfu Town and other places several times a day. There are also plenty of rental car (and motor scooter/bike) offices in the area. We are happy to help you organise all the details of getting around this beautiful area. The care of the field and the small greenhouse, as well of the garden, is undertaken by my husband at discrete hours. Guests are offered organic vegetables (according to the season) and are welcome to join in cultivation of the organic field, if they wish. Two adult bicycles with infant seats and two children's bicycles come with the house so you can discover the area. There is a baby cot and a child`s seat for younger guests. Greek lessons are possible, as both myself and my husband teach Greek (Modern and Ancient) as a foreign language. As an author and researcher on traditional Corfiot and Greek cuisine myself, I can also offer lessons in Greek cuisine.
