Chubby's Cottage

Located on an open hill along a private drive, this newly built -"little house on the prairie"- is surrounded by fields on one end and woods on the other. Nothing but stars at night -no neighbors nearby. Trails and ponds are available for your enjoyment. Swimming and fishing is encouraged in the warmer months. A small outdoor fire ring is nearby. The cottage is a one king bedroom with a big open loft. Up to four queen air-mattreses with bedding are available if needed. Located just outside the village of Albany. The immediate area is rural farm land and woods. Albany has the basics: Family Dollar, Subway, Marathon (gas, fresh made sandwiches and beer), School House Cafe (breakfast, lunch dinner), Lucky's Pizza, a coffee shop, Autoworx (auto repair), a laundromat, a small medical clinic (Holzier) on the local school campus, and a library. Athens - 20 min drive - has pretty much everything. The driveway is relatively long and has some steep grades. Snow and ice can make it slick and challenging. We are working on adding gravel where needed, but this winter the ice has stuck around and has kept the drive slick -regardless of gravel or not.
