Black Dog Pond

A taste of country life in an area rich in history, quietly secluded in the rural farming community of Snow Camp. There are plenty of conveniently located places to visit, eat, drink, shop, and explore or stay in and enjoy the firepit, hot tub, or fishing in our stocked pond. 45 minutes from Durham, 40 minutes from Greensboro, 10 minutes from Liberty, 15 minutes from Siler City, 25 minutes from Burlington, 30 minutes from Mebane, 20 minutes from Graham. Our guest house is adjacent to the historic farm house. Hot tub and pond are available for use year round. Keurig coffee maker and basic coffee supplies available. Open floor plan downstairs, spacious loft bedroom upstairs. 1 bathroom downstairs. Full kitchen minus a stove. Small washer and dryer in kitchen. If guest need assistance in operation please let us know! Toaster oven, microwave and charcoal grill available, full size fridge as well as a mini fridge. Heated and cooled with split units on both levels. Groups/kids/pets welcome (dogs leashed when outside please). Small local diner located just down the road. 10-15 minutes from several other local restaurants. There is a Dollar General and gas station approx 1 mile away. Entire guest house is yours! Fire pit, pond and patio areas are available for year round use. The hot tub available apon request to ensure adequate privacy. 6 people max in the hot tub please. Fishing poles/tackle not provided. As the main house is in close proximity to the guest house, we will be on location for any issues, requests, or questions. If you prefer privacy we will do our best to accommodate you. We do have 3 young children (12, 8, and 16 months) as well as our friendly black lab, Coal, that will graciously clean your plates for you! Snow Camp is a rural farming community. Other than light traffic it is very peaceful and quiet. Enjoy a breathtaking star filled night sky while soaking in the hot tub or sitting by the fire. Southern hospitality can be found around every corner! There is a gas station and a Dollar General just down the road (approximately 1 mile), however transportation by car is ideal. We are located 45 minutes from Durham, 40 minutes from Greensboro, 35 minutes from Chapel Hill, 25 minutes from Burlington, 20 minutes from Graham, 15 minutes from Siler City, and 10 minutes from Liberty.
