Full finished basement with full bath, bar & more!
Enjoy our newly finished basement including a bar with a sink, two TVs mounted behind it. Just several feet away is a comfy sectional which faces another bigger smart TV. Full bathroom, with stand up shower and a urinal (husbands one wish). The back room contains a super comfortable queen bed with another mounted smart TV on the wall. We are in wine county, come stay with us. No one will bother you during your stay. We do have 3 dogs so please keep that in mind, but they’ll be upstairs. Our basement is brand new, just completed about a month ago. The carpeted steps lead down to a large open living room area with a 55 inch TV mounted on the wall, where you can comfortably watch from the sectional. The living room also has the bar, which features a small sink (no garbage disposal), storage, plates, cutlery and cups. We have a small mini fridge downstairs you may use, or if you need to, you can come upstairs and use our main fridge for storage. Off of the living room is access to the full bathroom, including a standup shower and a urinal. In the open access bedroom behind the living room, is a queen size brand new bed. Another 50 inch smart TV is hung on the wall in that room as well. We have installed locking doorknobs for the basement so that you may lock it from your side (downstairs) for extra privacy. Our neighborhood, our town in general is easily accessible. We also have a very large driveway and plenty… PLENTY, of street parking if it’s needed. Our family lives in the home so it’s almost guaranteed you’ll interact with us at some point. We will not invade your space or privacy, nor will our kids (2 sons, 6 years old and 3 years old) or our dogs. We have a Siberian husky, a golden retriever and a German shepherd. We’ll make sure you have ways to get into the house if we’re not home, and you’re welcome to use anything in the main kitchen and/or washer dryer. But we won’t be the annoying overwhelming people. If you have kids you’re bringing and you want to come upstairs and chill with us, great. If you want to say hi and bye, or maybe say nothing at all, that’s great too. We do have guns in our house. My husband is in law enforcement. All guns are safely secured at all times, in locked gun safes. We live in a super family/ kid friendly area right in the heart of Marthasville. Our street is a cul-de-sac and we’re the house directly at the bottom of the hill so everything fun happens on our street. Marthasville is a small town. We’re going to be getting a big boost when Hoffmann are completed with all their projects, attempting to turn our wine country into a family resort area. But we’re about 15 minute drive from wineries, and we have the atleast one very very close bar/ pub that I promise you; you will die for their food. Beyond that, we have a dollar general, gas stations and a small market. We’re about a 15 minute drive from Washington which has all the big brand stores, Walmart, target, Ross etc. We have three dogs of our own. If you plan to bring your dog, it needs to be a dog that’s socialized with other dogs. We don’t plan to have our dogs interact with yours often or at all if that can be avoided. But if you wish to bring your dog, please keep in mind you’re bringing it into a house with 3 dogs who’ve established that this is their house. We will need to do a meet and greet because our dogs will smell yours downstairs and that will be irritating for everyone during your stay. So far, so good with other dogs coming over. The alpha right now in my pack is my golden retriever (even though she is 2 and my husky is 9). Because of this, my German shepherd (10mos) follows her lead. If this was not the case, I would not allow dogs at all as German shepherds typically aren’t fans of other unknown dogs coming to their house.
