Private, Newly Renovated Guest Suite
We are located in Creston with great views of the Kootenay valley and the Selkirk Mountains. Creston and surrounding area have many local outdoor activities to offer; including hiking, fishing, golfing, skiing and beautiful beaches on Kootenay Lake. The US border is just a few minutes away. This private suite has been updated and newly decorated. You can walk to the Saturday Farmers market and Creston’s many restaurants, fruit stands and wineries are a short drive. Our private guest suite is large, clean and very comfortable with a large bedroom with a queen bed and a queen size sofa bed in the living room for extra guests. You will also find a large bathroom with tiled shower. The breakfast nook/kitchenette has a fridge/freezer, microwave, water cooler and coffee station. Enjoy your morning coffee or evening wine and beautiful sunsets on the patio. You can access the Wifi and check out the offerings on the smart TV or stream your smart phone favourites using SmartView/AirPlay. There is a large mudroom where you can store your skis, golf clubs or other items. There is a parking space just steps from the private suite entrance. You can walk to the Saturday Farmers market and Creston’s many restaurants, fruit stands and wineries are a few minutes away. Hiking and water access (river and lake) information can be found in our Guest book. The following ski resorts are under 2 hours away; Whitewater, Kimberley, Fernie, Red Mountain Resort, Stagleap Park (backcountry skiing), Salmo ski hill, Schweitzer ski resort (Sandpoint, Idaho). Get in a round of golf at one of the many nearby golf resorts (Creston, Kokanee springs, St. Eugene and many others). The Destination Highways Motorcycle Guide Book rated the Kootenay Lake portion of the Selkirk Loop route as its # 1 riding experience in British Columbia.
