The Ranch - Hobart

Peaceful and quiet Catskill mountain getaway with great views just over 2.5 hours from NYC. Home has a spacious floor plan with modern kitchen, master suite, 2 additional bedrooms, and huge open outdoor space with 2 large decks. Close to 2 ski resorts: Plattekill (20 minutes) and Belleayre (30 minutes). A babbling brook traverses the rear of the property, and can be heard from the house. Outdoor space is perfect for snow sledding and tubing in the winter. The space is great for families and friends. We have a large room full of windows that show off the mountain and valley views, with access to the huge deck for full viewing pleasure! The outdoor space around the house is open, huge, and perfect for adults and kids to play and explore. The space is on a large, open, gentle slope for snow tubing, sledding, and snowboarding! It has a fire pit, overlooking great northern Catskill mountain views. Search YouTube for "The Ranch - Hobart" for videos of our family snowboarding right around the house! Guests can move about the entire property. There are 2 lines of trees that separate our property from the neighbors. In the rear, the brook marks the border to that neighbor. You have full access to the brook, and can walk along it if you desire. We have a Ring Doorbell Cam. This is the only camera on the property. Rural setting, but minutes to the town of Hobart and nearby Stamford. We have a fully stocked kitchen with plenty of pots, pans, bowls, glasses, plates, kitchen utensils, and common pantry items. We have Fiber Optic Internet that is fast and reliable, with all new equipment (new Wi-Fi router Optical Interface).
