You can choose to share our bathroom at the end of the hallway on the 2nd floor....or use the shared guest bathroom (toilet/sink/clawfoot tub) on the first floor. We have 2 indoor cats which means we CANNOT ACCOMMODATE YOUR PETS. [No children under 18 please as home is not set up for child safety.] Home is in town where a train comes through each night....which adds to the local charm and overall experience! You are welcome to use our kitchen, washer/dryer, & wireless internet. Please note that we burn white sage before and after every guest visit so you can feel the positive energy of this happy home. Lots of open space, farmland, and bi-coastal waterways to explore with the Delaware Bay, Atlantic Ocean and Chesapeake Bay a short distance away! We are an hour north from the beaches in Rehoboth/Lewes, DE; a short 20 minutes north of Dover (our state's capital), and 40 minutes south of Wilmington, DE. Philadelphia airport is 1 hour and 15 minutes north and Baltimore airport is 1 hour and 30 minutes from us. Wilmington airport is 30 minutes north. Amtrak train does travel to Wilmington, DE. Firefly Musical Festival and NASCAR fans please keep us in mind for your events in Dover! Guests may use the wireless internet, kitchen for meal preparation, and laundry room. Reiki Sessions / Energy Healing: Michele is a Reiki Practitioner. You may want to book a session and experience a super relaxed state of consciousness ... the ideal state where natural healing occurs. Cat Osho may join the session for added pet therapy! Reiki Overview A Reiki session is a super-relaxing process where we use the life force energy in the Universe to assist you in accessing a greater awareness of "who you really are" for the optimal performance of your human body, mind and spirit. Everyone receiving a Reiki session experiences a super-relaxed state of mind, body and spirit. Sometimes other experiences may be noted. You may feel the energy from me such as the heat coming from my hands and tingling sensations in your body, you may feel a slightly uncomfortable pressure (not caused by my physical hands) as an energetic block is being cleared for greater access to well-being; images may appear in your conscious mind with new insights to unsolved questions; and sometimes you'll feel the presence of your dear loved ones who have already transitioned to the other side such as family, friends and pets. They are energy too and work with the energy in the Universe to support you during this process!! My cats love the energy and will typically join the client on the table. The clients love the added depth that their energy provides. However, if you are not comfortable with that experience, we can put them in another room. A one hour session is $75. We enjoy welcoming our guests and sharing with them what we love about our community and we love getting to know them. However, we enjoy our private time as well and realize that most guests like their "down-time" and have their own schedules to keep... as do we. We find we offer a good balance of hospitable warmth as well as independence for our guests. Quiet, rural farm town. Close enough to restaurants, stores and cultural activities. There is no public transportation to Townsend. You will need to rent a car or hire a cab service. Free parking is available on the street next to the house on Lattomus Street.
